What is CrossFit?

“CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.”*

Our CrossFit classes are 1 hour in length and include a warm-up, skills and mobility work, and high-intensity functional movements using a combination of Olympic weight lifting, Kettlebells, bodyweight exercises, and cardio. This combination promotes strength, endurance, fat metabolism, weight loss, and overall physical fitness. CrossFit challenges individuals to push themselves to achieve a level of fitness beyond their previous limits. CrossFit classes offer a total fitness workout in a fun and supportive atmosphere. In addition to new clients, we invite current CrossFit members from all over Maine to check out our new gym.
